situated in a quiet location with breathtaking views of
Grasmere lake and the surrounding fells.
The property is a ground floor garden apartment with private, door step parking and a level, well maintained garden, ideal for al fresco meals on sunny days.
We have refurbished the apartment to provide the most

The dining area has beautiful views over the lake and it is a joy to sit and eat your breakfast watching the herons on the island.
The lounge is airy and sunny, having benefit of a large
window to take advantage of the views while you relax after a hard day on the fells [or a hard day shopping!]. We have
provided TV, video, radio, tape and CD player for your
entertainment plus books, magazines and games. The cosy,
electric stove effect fire will keep you warm on chilly nights.
The large double bedroom again has views over the lake,
gardens to the fells beyond and has been furnished to
provide a comfortable haven to sleep off the days exertions. A hair dryer and electric blanket are provided for your comfort and convenience.
The bathroom is small but perfectly formed, it is tiled in lovely pale lemon tiles with a white suite. The bath is deep and
welcoming to aching limbs, after a hard day fell walking & the shower is powerful and invigorating.
We have provided a laundry room with washer/dryer/ironing board and a place for the wet boots and coats. Bikes can be stored in here as well.
All fuel is inclusive, the property is fully electric with E7
heating and storage heater in all main rooms. Good quality bed linen is provided, the telephone is in the laundry room.
We regret that dogs are not allowed.
Grasmere View is a non smoking property.
The pubs/shops/cafes/restaurants; all excellent, are
approximately one mile away. There are walks from the door, the classic Rydal Round being one of many.
The National Trust local properties are the Wordsworth homes, Dove Cottage & Rydal Mount
